Book Club – A very informal discussion group of books of
topical/religious interest. The
club meets at the Pembroke Library on a monthly basis

Friday
Night “Movie Pizza and Prayer”
– Monthly meeting of children in grades 4 – 7. A newly released movie is viewed
and pizza prayer and sometimes crafts are enjoyed by all.

Coffee Sunday – Parishioners prepare coffee and donuts for an
informal gathering in the parish hall after the 9:00 Mass on the last Sunday of
the month. Volunteers are needed to serve on a rotating basis to set up the
hall furniture as well as to serve the refreshments and to clean up.

Kitchen
– Volunteers meet monthly to
keep the kitchen clean and attractive and stocked with basic supplies and
implements. Occasionally, other projects such as refreshing paint or making
minor repairs are undertaken.

Family Activities – This group organizes social events including
seasonal festivals, children’s performances, and parties. Members plan and
execute these events. Jobs include publicity, set-up and clean up, decorating,
running craft activities and games, organizing and serving potluck suppers, and
preparing raffles. Other people assist with children’s performances working on
set design rehearsals, or costuming.

Adult Social Activities – This newly formed group welcomes members who are
interested in adult activities such as dinners, bus trips, entertainment, and
evenings of reflection.
